Meeting the Common Induction Standards working with Adults in Social Care Settings

This is a generic training programme that meets the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards. 

The Common Induction Standards provide much of the underpinning knowledge for the NVQs in Health and Social Care at level 2 and 3.

Our Getting Started training also provides the knowledge for the European Care Certificate.

Delivered CourseThe Getting Started Delivered Course

This is a 5-day inclusive course delivered in an interactive way with group work, discussion, exercises and scenarios and so on.

It covers all of the Common Induction Standards and also includes time for learners to complete the independent assessment.

These days are designed for a maximum of 15 people but the 5 days can be delivered at a pattern to best suit the organisation's needs this could be 1 day per week over 5 weeks or 2 days then 2 days and a final 1 day over 3 weeks.
