At this meeting we will have two updates on key agenda areas for service providers
Skills for Care
The qualifications for all sectors changing rapidly, and soon there will be no more NVQs. Sue Johnson will come along and update us on the latest developments with the Qualification and Credits Framework.
I have also asked her to update us on the information being gleaned from the NMDS-SC and to answer any questions you may have about completing the Employee Records. This is now a requirement for those of you claiming TSI funding for NVQs, Inductions and certificated training courses, through the ARC TSI Partnership, or any others in the Region.
And talking of induction - where does the LDQ induction fit into the new Qualification Framework? Come along and get some answers.

Chris Sholl, VPST Regional Advisor is hoping to attend, to tell us what the Partnership Boards’ reports revealed and to update us on the future of the Regional Program Boards in these times of funding cutbacks.
