Services available from ARC

ARC Services

ARC offers a variety of Training qualifications and packages, some of which are developed through the many projects we are involved in. Most of these projects and training packages are learning disability related.

We are also an approved NVQ centre and offer a range of NVQ's for both general health and social care workers and those working in the learning disability sector.

Some of these training courses and publications are developed through a successful tender with a government department such as Skills for Care.

On this page you'll find brief information of the current services ARC offers and background information on courses/resources we've developed through successful tenders. For more detailed information follow the links.

We'll be updating this page as our services increase.

The ARC UK Active Support Practice Development Service

Through a dedicated and committed team, the ARCUK Active Support Practice Development Service (ASPDS) aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice in developing real person-centred approaches to support.

Tailor-made Training Packages

ARC Training Courses are available as Delievered Courses, Distance Learning, Trainer's Manuals, Guidance and a combination of all of these. However, most of our training products and services can be tailor-made to meet your individual organisational needs.

LDQ QCF Updates

The Micro Employer Toolkit

This project was a short-term contract with Skills for Care to develop a toolkit to guide those who wish to employ their own support workers (Personal Assistants) through recruitment, employment, the induction and development of the worker.
