ARC are a registered umbrella body offering a full service to enable member organisations to obtain a Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure and PoVA check for all staff. We aim to take the hassle out of obtaining a Disclosure!
If you are a small organisation, or have little staff turnover, having to register with the Criminal Records Bureau, keep up to date with the latest policies and ensure security is rather daunting. It is also likely to be cheaper to go through ARC. Although we have to levy an administrative charge, this is unlikely to amount to as much as the registration fee charged by the CRB. We can provide you with the relevant policies and procedures and information to give to prospective employees regarding the requirements of Disclosure.
If you are a larger organisation, you may still feel that having a central point through which to work, together with the advice and guidance that we can offer will be of benefit. In addition, each workplace can deal with the recruitment process direct, rather than having to involve central office staff (if these exist!) In most cases, ensuring security of the Disclosure documents will not be necessary.
