Bridget Fisher and Sid Jeewa, Disability Works, have worked with the Valuing People Support Team to produce a toolkit for Learning Disability Partnership Boards in England, to use in their work in implementing the objectives of Valuing People to all communities in their local area and to give people from minority ethnic communities the same opportunities as everyone else.
Learning Difficulties and Ethnicity - a framework for action was published on 5 February 2004. There are four sections:
- the main text
- an easy read summary
- an audit tool
- reading, resources and examples
