The Development officer for Northern Ireland provides on going support and quality assurance for candidates, assessors and verifiers.
These workplace visits can be used flexibly for a number of support activities.
- Advice on developing NVQ within your organisation.
- Portfolio building support for A1/V1 candidates.
- Direct Observation of A1/V1 candidates and qualified assessors and verifiers.
- Assessment support of NVQ candidates.
- Verification of NVQ units.
- Completion of Training Needs Analysis for Assessor’s development.
NB: In order to fulfil Awarding Body requirements a minimum of 1 full day or 2 half days per year are needed. Agencies can book extra days/half days according to the needs of the organisation.
