More Than A Job?
Profile of the social care workforce in learning disability services
The 'More Than A Job?' report presents the findings of a staff questionnaire distributed to employees within learning disablity services in North and West Belfast Health and Social Services Trust, Positive Futures and Ulster Community and Hospitals Health and Social Services Trust. The survey was compiled by the University of Ulster during 2005. The questionnaires were sent out so that a profile of the current social care workforce in learning disability could be created. The findings of the researh will assist the POISE Project with various research and training initiatives. In total, 730 questionnaires were sent out and 462 were returned. This gives a positive response rate of 63%! The POISE team would ike to thank all staff for completing the questionnaires and assisting in the research study.
