ARC Scotland is going to set up a Scottish Transitions Forum following on from a recent conference Moving out: Moving on-But where to? , which was facilitated by Camphill Scotland and the Scottish Executive and supported by Cornerstone Community Care and a conference called Its My Life that ARC Scotland facilitated in November in Inverness.
This Transitions Forum would be for lead/officers for transitions both in the statutory and voluntary sectors here in Scotland.
The forum could:
- help exchange good practice
- look at policy development
- help people acquire new skills such as person centred planning
- help individuals find solutions to local problems.
