What is it?
This is a set of materials in the form of a website, guidebook and training programme.
The “Moving On, Planning Ahead package takes individuals through information about living independently and what this really means. This includes how they will pay for the things they need, the support they can get and any benefits that may be available.
Who is the training for?
The “Train the Trainer” sessions are for any staff who are currently, or who will be, working with people with a learning disability who are moving on and planning ahead now and in the future.
The course takes workers through the trainers manual giving additional information and advice about how best to deliver this course and support to individuals with a learning disability to enable them to plan ahead.
