Happy Heart Group

ARC Cymru supports service providers across Wales to promote the independence, inclusion, individuality and well-being of people with learning disabilities.

We hold branch meetings in North and South Wales, updating members about best practice and policy developments. The branch meetings are a good opportunity for meeting other providers and exploring common issues.

We also have an active Training Partnership, dedicated to developing training resources and identifying opportunities for shared learning disability specific staff training.

Providers can maximise their resources by offering "empty" places on in-house training to other providers on a reciprocal or "cost" basis. We also hold specialized staff training days, offering low cost, quality training in a range of learning areas.

You can find details of our forthcoming branch meetings and staff training on our events page.

ARC also conducts projects and research to support service providers in a wide range of matters relating to people with a learning disability
