ARC Cymru is committed to developing and improving available training for all staff, from induction right through to advanced management training.

In addition to our branch meetings, which have regular training slots, ARC Cymru has a Training Partnership dedicated to training issues. The partnership, which is free for any ARC member in Wales to join, meets several times a year.

We are now offering a continually growing range of specialist training courses on a range of learning disability issues, which are open to all learning disability service providers in Wales (with a discounted rate for ARC members).

ARC Cymru members (and non-members) can also benefit from the skills and expertise of the ARC Training Consortium, based in Evesham. The main focus of the consortium is on NVQs, and particularly on helping to produce work-based NVQ assessors. All ARC members (including ARC Cymru members) are automatically members of the consortium and enjoy lower charges for consortium services.
